  5. to Freeform v1.2, culminating in this release!

  7. FreeForm make Liberty BASIC easier and more fun by eliminating
  8. much of the grunt work that goes into creating window code.
  9. It also helps alleviate Visual BASIC envy (grin)!
  10.  
  11. FreeForm is not standalone software!  FreeForm v1.3 is designed
  12. to work with Liberty BASIC v1.3.  It works with both the
  13. shareware and registered versions that program.

  22. How to use FreeForm v1.3
  23. ---------------------------------------------------------------

  25. Pull down the Run menu from inside Liberty BASIC, and select
  26. FreeForm v1.3.
  27.  
  28. FreeForm will now load and run.  FreeForm is a large program and
  29. may take a few seconds to start up.

  32. Once FreeForm is running, you can begin designing your own windows
  33. with it.  To place a control onto the window, just click on the
  34. button for that control.  You may be asked for a label.  Once the
  35. control is displayed, you may move and resize it to your liking.

  38. Tips:
  39. ------------------------------------------------------------------

  41. - You can resize the window design by clicking anywhere on its
  42. surface.  Then drag the resizing tag (located at the lower right
  43. of the form) to resize.
  44.  
  45. - Inspect each item that you add and edit its properties.
  46.  
  47. - Once your layout is complete, generate code by pulling down the
  48. Output menu and selecting one of the two options there.  Then, after
  49. your window code has been generated, copy it from its window, and
  50. paste it into your program at an appropriate spot.

  52. - Don't forget to save your work.

  57. Feel free to modify this program to meet your own requirements.
  58. If you decide to share your modifications with others, you may
  59. upload your file to bulletin boards provided your file
  60. description (FILE_ID.DIZ) CLEARLY states that the file is modified
  61. and not original.  You must include copies of the original FFEXP.BAS
  62. and FFEXP.TKN files in your upload, and you must also make mention
  63. of this inside your archived upload named NOTICE.TXT (we've included
  64. an example NOTICE.TXT file).
